mmm…the Toscana Garlic Parmesan Bruschetta sound delicious! And she needn’t worry about her tomato-hating 13 YO–his tastes are just going through one of those teen-age things. (I did subscribe/confirm via email while I was there)
Last night I did it Veggie style but liked it so much I grilled chicken breast in the Central Park Dipping Oil to give it a little Itaian marinade flavor. Perfect. Don’t tell the kids but I added in addition to the fresh tomato, sundried tomatos and artichoke hearts. YES!!!!!!!!!
I also visited Momma Told Me and her Fettuccine recipe sounds so easy. I subscribed there as well.

I was not aware Tavern Direct helped the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. I also did not know the City of NY owned rights to the Tavern name!

Taverndirect was founded to help National Center for MIssing & Exploited Children. I founded NCMEC/NY and wanted to create a company similiar to Newmann’s Own. NCMEC is a very hard cause to raise money for so Taverndirect was born. NY city owns the Tavern name for Central Park only. Big legal battle over the name. Thanks Lou

I like the Toscana Chicken Ceaser Recipe cause I dont eat any other meat. Another way I can make chicken instead of the same old ones.
I would like to try the Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar … Would be great on salads.
Marinade fresh Strawberries in the Balsamic and pour over vanilla ice cream. Add cracked pepper and tell no one and watch the smiles. Yes the pepper makes it crunchy and gives it a lift.

Ok! Deb I went and got my crouton’s, romaine, green onions and the chicken is marinating in the Toscana Garlic Parmesan. At Seven tonight this goes in the frying pan with my Greek Olive Oil to be topped off with some great shaved Parmesan Cheese. Can’t wait!!!!!!!!! Lou

I Visited Turning The Clock Back’s Toscana Parmesan post. I like the idea of pizza. I wonder how this marinade would work on a white pizza (cheese, broccoli, spinach)? I bet it would be yummy, and much healthier than a lot of oil/butter.
